This is a must do event featuring south florida dubstep all stars from the Digital Felon, Bashead, Out Loud, and Fluid Music crews inside the famous Respectables club in downtown West Palm Beach Fl. The night is supported with some drum n bass action on the patio by the K.R.U. This is the perfect time of year for a trip to WPB to see this go down in a place where the author of this blog grew up! Dubyah: Florida Dubstep and beyond….

Drum and bass aficionado Will Miles has recently relocated to the great state of South Florida from his home state of Virginia. Will is well known internationally for his signature style of drum and bass production and has had tunes signed to Pushin’ Wax Recordings, Creative Source and has a dubstep release via his Dubyah pseudonym through the Haunted Audio imprint.

1. You have recently relocated to Miami. Other than being an awesome city to live and play in, why have you come to us?

Miami is a great city to thrive in as a DJ/Producer, especially in the realm of underground beats such as Drum N Bass.

2. Orlando based dubstep/electronic label Haunted Audio has signed two of your tunes for release under your Dubyah alias. Will we see more non-dnb releases from you?

Probably. I started producing non-dnb beats long before I started producing dnb. It took me a while to get my head around it.

3. What’s up with your dnb release schedule? Anything forthcoming we should keep our eyes peeled for?

There’s a track that just came out on InfluenzaLTD called “Uncertainty”, and another track coming out on Kenny Ken’s Mix N’ Blend.

4. Are there any more Style Control releases, or at least talk of another Style Control tune?

Kjell and I are always trying to do Style Control tracks, but our individual tracks seem to out weigh the SC tracks because of the names we’ve made for ourselves individually. I can say that there is a remix we’ve been working on for quite some time, and hopefully we can finish it soon. I don’t want to say what it is yet, since we haven’t finished it!

5. Where will you be djing in the future?

Tonight I’m Djing in Pittsburgh, and actually typing up these answers on stage, listening to some dubstep. Kjell and I are playing Stank Love on Halloween at Jazid in Miami Beach, then a Thanksgiving party back home in the RVA.

Hey! Monthly Dubstep In Melbourne!

As far as I’m concerned, these guys are bass missionaries spreading the generational dub we call dubstep to the eastern shores of the sunshine state’s beautiful space coast.

Gentlemen, from all the Florida Dubstep community, we salute you and may your subs resonate downtown Melbourne attracting all those friendly to the genre to show up in droves. Peace. Respect. Bass.
