Haunted Audio Sessions, the record label run by Redcoat (and long time friend), presented DFRNT with support from REDCOAT, EADE (aso her birthday) and MC Collaborator at the Bikkuri Lounge in Orlando. Killer Dubstep, good Sake (2-4-1) and a birthday party for Emily (EADE) was mine for the snapping. Shooting at these gigs is fun and challenging at the same time. Crazy lights going off every which way and I don’t like to just flash everyone all night long. I’ll blab about the photo side after the photos below. I’d like to thank Redcoat and EADE for having me out. And a big thank you to Billie for keeping an eye on my gear! I owe you a round.

Since the early days of floridadubstep.com (Sept 26, 2007), dubstep events, dj’s, blogs, forums, internet radio, and labels have been growing in numbers; in much the same way senior citizens and Cubans have. All over this great great state dubstep outfits have been sprouting up like czars in Obamas’ cabinet. This post is dedicated to those brave people who have what it takes (time, energy, patients, heartache, headache, blood) to get into this business and work hard to make sure that dj’s have a constant flow of fresh dubs.

Florida’s bass-badman, the one and only, MC Collaborator, is headlining the Winter White Out along side Abducted Records CEO Dioptrics on January 23 2010 at the Rock Bottom Farms Compound in downtown Orlando. The multi formatted event is hosted by the growing Dancing Zombies outfit. Collaborator, the man responsible for the bringing dubstep to streets via the Dublife monthly, is hosting Trill Bass and Foul Play Dubstep CEO, Prolific, on 1/30/10.
